Bafut Council, N.W Region - Cameroon
The Bafut Council was created amongst others by a Presidential Decree No. 93/321 0f 25th Nov. 1993 as stipulated by section 3(1) of law No.2004/18 of 22nd July 2004. It's mission is to promote local development and improving on the living conditions of their inhabitants. This follows the law of decentralization which aims at devolving powers from the central government to local collectivities to administer their own local government areas.

The Genuine Traditional Medicinal Research Centre Lebelled “GETRAMEREC” as its acronym is a Common Initiative Group, with its objectives in carrying out research on diseases plaguing our Sub Saharan region. Registered on the 14th of May 2003. Our group under the patronage of Dr. Sama Daybga Peter is recording a remarkable success as appreciated by its consumers out there, favoured our being chosen by the Regional Delegation for trade and industry to represent the Region in a Technological Show for “Inventors and innovators”, which was held in Yaounde “Hotel de ville”, on the 22nd October 2004. Inclusive are the pictures of this workshop. Vested with some knowledge in the “Human Anatomy and Physyiology, we equally carry out sensitization on “How to protect our immune system” against contamination from certain bacteria, or obstructing the physiological functioning of the body organs through wrong body posture after meals, which answers the world’s million dollar question of the cause for the prevalence of diabetes the world over.
